JAVIER SALNISKY was born in Buenos Aires in 1970 studied bandoneon in the Conservatorio de Musica Popular de Avellaneda under the direction of the maestro Rodolfo Dalvisio.
His career as a bandoneonist begins in the Sexteto Arrabal in which he keeps working during one year playing in radio and tv programs, and milongas as Centro Cultural Torquato Tasso, La Casa del Tango, La Viruta.
In 2001 he moves to Italy where he starts to play with the pianist and arranger Fabrizio Pieroni (Cuarteto Almagro) creating the Rejunte Cuartet.
In the meantime he plays in different forms as Duo, Trio and with the Cuarteto Suerte Loca, since 2004 performing in milongas and shows all over Italy, France and Germany.
In 2013 he wins a prize from the Maison des artistes released by La Sapienza University of Roma .
In the last years he plays in Italy and on tour with different musicians and singers of the argentinian tango scene.
LORENZO BUCCI was born in Rome on 24/06/1980. As a young man he began studying classical guitar and in 2005 graduated with honors at the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia under the guidance of Maestro G. Balestra.
Starting in 2001, he attended the five-year course in experimental composition at the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia under the guidance of Maestro G. Chiti and received the Compimento Medio Diploma in 2006.
Since 2008 he has been interested in the Argentine tango and has been studying this language in its various facets. He has arranged works of tango's traditional repertoire for the guitar duo that he formed with Argentine guitarist Lucas Nunez.
Since many years he also collaborates with Francisco Dri in the guitar duo "Fou Rire" which proposes more recent works by authors such as A. Piazzolla and R. Galliano.
Moreover, he deals with vocal accompaniment with several singers - such as Ana Karina Rossi - both in Rome and on the international scene.
In 2010, toghether with Francisco Dri and Ana Karina Rossi, he created the music for the show "Tango Nini" of Yamila F. Suarez.
More recently, thanks to the musical encounter with Javier Salnisky, he continues to focus on the tango's traditional repertoire but this time through a proposal based on guitar and bandoneon.
In parallel to tango, he has devoted himself for years to jazz manouche within various musical ensembles and by a constant cooperation with Miraldo Vidal.
In 2013 he has formed the trio "Time in Reverse", with Francesco Di Cicco and Paride Furzi. The same year, in October, the trio opened the concert of the guitarist Angelo De Barre in Rome. In 2014, this ensemble - in collaboration with Carlo Conti and Denis Negroponte - recorded the album "Time in Reverse" that includes original compositions and arrangements of works from the jazz manouche repertoire.
His professional activity has constanly combined concerts and teaching. He works as a teacher in various music schools in Rome, including "Musical Harmonies" and "Anton Rubinstein".
